There are a total of 9 marbles. You take one, now there are a total of 8 marbles:
9*8 is going to be our denominator.
There are 5 possibilities for drawing the first red marble and 4 possibilities for drawing the second red marble. So, our numerator will be 5*4.
Put it all together:
(5*4)/(9*8) = 20/72 simplify and you get = 5/18 or 0.2778 or 27.78% probability
