Question 1119168: Hi, I have to simplify (x^3-x^2)/(1-x^3)
So, then, I was able to get it down to x^2 (x-1)/(1-x)(1+x+x^2) and then, I was just stuck right there, I don't know how to simplify it further. I would appreciate very much if you can help. Thank you.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi, I have to simplify (x^3-x^2)/(1-x^3)
So, then, I was able to get it down to x^2 (x-1)/(1-x)(1+x+x^2) and then, I was just stuck right there, I don't know how to simplify it further.
================
(x-1) = -(1-x)
x^2 (x-1)/(1-x)(1+x+x^2)
= -x^2*(x-1)/(x-1)(1+x+x^2)
= -x^2/(1+x+x^2)
