You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Each week, the amount of water in an aquarium decreases by 14% due to evaporation.
At the end of each week, 7.6 litres of water are added to the aquarium to bring it back to its correct level.
How much water should be in the tank?
:
let a = amt of water originally in the tank
After 1 week, .86a water in the tank
therefore
a - .86a = 7.6
.14a = 7.6
a = 7.6/.14
a = 54.3 liters
