The solid generated is the union of two identical cones attached at their bases.

Each cone has the same height as the radius  h = 4%2Asqrt%282%29 cm.


Hence, the volume of each cone is  V = %281%2F3%29%2Api%2Ar%5E2%2Ah = %281%2F3%29%2Api%2A4%5E2%2A2%2A4%2Asqrt%282%29 = %28128%2F3%29%2Api%2Asqrt%282%29.
