Question 1117485: Given isosceles trapezoid ABCD is circumscribed around circle E with diameter 16m and AE=10m, EC=17m. Find the perimeter of the trapezoid and the measure of angle A to the nearest tenth of a degree.
So, I found the perimeter to be 84m... but I have no clue on how to find Angle A. Any thoughts or clues?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

You can't find angle A with just geometry; you need trigonometry.

With trigonometry, it is easy:

A = 2*arctan(8/6)

which to the nearest tenth of a degree is 106.3 degrees.
