Question 1117101: What is the surface area of this square pyramid?
Height = 7 cm
Base = 4 cm
I got 74.24 and rounded it to the nearest tenth which would be 74.2. However this isn't the correct answer. Could someone please help? I googled and find some mentions of slanted heights if this might be the case of this equation. Thanks.
Here's an image of the square pyramid for reference in case I missed something: https://i.imgur.com/thZWoNu.png

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Your sample is the Example 1 of the lesson
    - Surface area of pyramids
in this site.

Read it attentively. Then calculate the lateral surface area of your pyramid following that sample.

As the last step, add the area of the base.

That's all.
