You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
L + W + L + W = 46    (perimeter)

2L + 2W = 46

L + W = 23

(W+3) + W = 23

2W + 3 = 23

2W = 23 - 3 = 20  ====>  W = 20%2F2 = 10.

The width = 10 cm.  Hence, the length = 10 + 3 = 13 cm.

Then the area is 10*13 = 130 cm^2.

Solved.
