40%2A30%2A10=12000 12000 cm^3=12 liters The forumula for finding the volume of a cylinder is
v=pi%2Ar%5E2%2Ah where r is the radius, or half the diameter and h is height. 10%2F2=5%5E2=25%2Api
So 25pi*12=300pi=approx.942.47779607693797 or you can round that to 942.48 if you need to.
12000 ml-942.48=11507.52 ml or 11.50752 L. I hope I helped you!

The volume of the rectangular container is 40*30*10 = 12000 cm^3.


The volume of the 12 cylinders/cans is  12*3.14*5^2*10 = 9420 cm^3.


The volume of water is the difference   12000 - 9420 = 2580 cm^3 = 2.580 liters.
