Question 111143: If a*b means 2a+b, then what is 2*5?
Answer by dolly(163) About Me  (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a*b means 2a+b,
Then 2*5 is got by replacing a by 2 and b by 5

So 2*5 = 2(2) + 5
= 4 + 5
= 9
Thus 2*5 = 9

Best of Luck!!!
