You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Something is wrong with Sofia’s watch.
She sets the time at 16:12, but three hours later her watch shows 20:00.
Two hours later her watch shows 22:32.
From this we know her watch gains 16 min every 60 min or 76 min every 60 min
:
When Sofia wakes up the next morning, her watch shows 6:46.
What is the correct real time?
Find how many minutes elapsed on her watch from 16:12 to 6:46
48 + 13(60) + 46 = 874 min
Find how many actual minutes have elapsed
60%2F76*874 ~ 690 min
Find 690 min from 16:12: 690/60 = 11 hrs 30 min
11 hrs from 16:12 = 3:12 + 30 min = 3:42 am is the actual time
