take the -5 before the () times by inside add y together put plain number on other side

-5y + 30 + 10y = 0
5y = - 30
y = -6
To check;
-5(-6) + (-5)(-6)+ (-5)(-2)(-6)
30 + 30 - 60 = 0
This does check.
