angle a is x
angle b is 3x
angle c is (x+3x)-4
They add to 180
8x-4=180
8x=184
x=23 degrees
3x=69 degrees
4x-4=88 degrees

The sum of the three angles is 180; and the angle C is 4 less than the sum of the other two. Formal algebra or logical analysis and quick mental arithmetic shows that angle C is 88 degrees.

Then the sum of angles A and B is 92 degrees; if angle B is 3 times as large as angle A, then -- again either by formal algebra or some mental arithmetic -- angle A is 23 degrees and angle B is 69 degrees.
