You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you use cos%28A%29%2Fsin%28A%29 for cot(A); and sin%28A%29%2Fcos%28A%29 for tan(A), and do the algebraic steps, that will lead you to:

%281%2F%28cos%28A%29sin%28A%29%29%29%5E2

and then 1%2F%28%28cos%28A%29%29%5E2%28sin%28A%29%29%5E2%29

Use of the basic pythagorean identity,
1%2F%28%281-sin%5E2%28A%29%29%28sin%28A%29%29%5E2%29
which is all in terms of sines.

(cotA + tanA)^2 equals what? In terms of trigonometric signs
---
Do you mean in terms of sines?
---
(cotA + tanA)^2 = (cos/sin + sin/cos)^2 = ((cos^2 + sin^2)/(sin*cos))^2
= 1/(sin(A)*cos(A))^2
= 1/(2sin(2A))^2
