You can put this solution on YOUR website!

(1) The matutu had been traveling for 15 minutes (1/4 hour) at a rate of 68km/hr when the car started. How far had the matutu gone before the car started?

(2) The rate at which the car caught up to the matutu is the difference of the speeds of the two vehicles. At what rate did the car catch up to the matutu?

(3) Just as time is distance divided by rate, time is also the difference in distances divided by the difference in rates. Divide the answer to (1) by the answer to (2) to find the amount of time it took the car to catch up to the matutu.

(4) Add the answer to (3) to the time the car started to find the time when the car caught up to the matutu.
