You can put this solution on YOUR website! A: 5:5:3
B: 3:3:2
Jug B contains a higher ratio of sugar to coffee and water (2/3, 2/3) vs. Jug a, which contains a lower ratio of sugar to coffee and water (3/5, 3/5)
Note:
2/3 is more than 3/5. How much more? This much:
set both numbers over a common denominator:
2/3 and 3/5 become 10/15 and 9/15 Now subtract: 10/15-9/15 = 1/15
Jug B has 1/15 more sugar than jug A
