You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1 in 10 what? (inches, meters, feet, miles)
Whatever it is, convert 2 miles to that metric, divide by 10 and you have your answer.
:
Example:
Gradient 1 foot in 10 feet.
1 mile = 5,280 feet
2 miles = 2 x 5,280 = 10,560 feet
10,560/10 = 1,066 feet
The car has climbed 1,066 feet or 1,066/5,280 = 0.2 miles
