You can put this solution on YOUR website! Same problem, different numbers. -------------------------------------------------------------
 If f(x) = x 2 + 1 and g(x) = 3x + 1, find f(-1) + 5g(-3).
 Do you mean f(x) = x^2 + 1 ?
 Use ^(Shift 6) for exponents.
 -----
 f(x) = x^2 + 1
Wherever you see x, sub -1
 f(-1) = (-1)^2 + 1 = 2
 ---
 g(x) = 3x + 1
 Sub -3
 Multiply by 5
 Add f(-1)
