You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A train left For Burbank and three hours later a car traveling fifty one mph tried to catching up. After four hours the car caught up. What was the trains average speed?
Let speed of train be x mph
catch up time is 4 hours
Car left 3 hours later
total time train traveled = 7 hours
7x = 51 *4
x = 51*4 / 7
speed of train = 29.14mph
