Question 1107706: Hello, I'm having difficulty completing the following problem. Any help is appreciated.
Question: The probability that a worker gets a "5" on their annual review is 20 percent. The probability that a worker is male is 40 percent. The probability that a worker gets a "5" and is male is 50 percent. What is the probability a worker is male and gets a "5"?
I created a table and filled in the totals but I'm having trouble getting the other percentages. I came up with .08 but I'm not sure if it is correct. Can you show me how to figure this out? I don't just want the answer.
Thank you.
