Question 1107493: Graph a cosine function whose amplitude is 4, period is π , midline is y=−3 , and y-intercept is (0, 1) .
The first point must be on the midline and the second point must be a maximum or minimum value on the graph closest to the first point. I appreciate the help thanks

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The cosine function with no phase shift
starting at 0 degrees and going
0, pi/2, pi, 3pi/2, 2pi
max pos, 0, max neg, 0, max pos
-------------------------------------------
I get:
+f%28t%29+=+4cos%28+2t%29+-3+
Note that if I say +t+=+pi+, then I get +cos%28+2pi+%29+,
which is a complete cycle
--------------------------
Here is the plot:
+graph%28+400%2C400%2C+-7%2C+14%2C+-8%2C+2%2C+4cos%28+2x+%29+-+3+%29+
This looks correct. It has a period of +pi+, and the
max value is +f%28t%29+=+1+, so that is the point ( 0,1 )
That means there is no pase shift.
