Question 1107304: Find the value of each variable and the measure of each labeled angle:
There are two lines that cross (like an X)
The top is: (8y -102)degrees
The left is: 3x degrees
The bottom is: (2y + 6) degrees
I don't know how i'm supposed to solve with two variables

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Description seems clear enough. Two intersecting lines. There are four angles. The top, the left, the right, and the bottom.

Top and Bottom are VERTICAL ANGLES and vertical angles are congruent.
This means 2y%2B6=8y-102, and you can solve for y.

The left angle is 3x degrees.
What? No "angle on the right of it"?
The 3x angle is supplementary to either the 8y-102 degree angle or the 2y+6 degree angle.

THAT means that 3x%2B8y-102=180, and 3x%2B2y%2B6=180;
and you should have already solved for y.
