You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
In this pair (1,6), the first number, "1", represents "x", while the second number, "6", represents "y".

So, what is the left side of the given equality ? - It is "y", i.e. 6.

    What is the right side of the given equality ? - It is x + 6 = 1 + 6 = 7.

Now, is 6 less than 7 ? - YES, it is.

Hence, the pair (1,6) IS the solution of the given inequality.
