Question 1106647: This is a different kind of question any advice would be appreciated. I知 planning to go back to school for a career change to be a computer programmer. I知 self studying high school math in preparation for college math because I forgot all of it. Almost done with algebra 2. How much time should I spend reviewing things I致e already learned? How can I get better at things I致e already learned? How will I know if I知 smart enough for college math, it痴 intimidating? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, Aaron.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I suggest you Google "SAT practice tests" to measure
your math competence.
In general you will be ready for College Math if you
understand Intermediate Algebra, Trigonometry and some Geometry.
----
SAT practice books can be found at your local public library.

Good luck with your efforts.

Also, you can find textbooks on Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry in your local public library.

Even if they are comparatively old - do not hesitate use it.

By the way, all old textbooks on these subjects are BETTER than the newest ones.
