Question 1106334: I need assistance with how to do a graph showing the following. Fill it up Inc. Is 4.00 a bottle. Bottles by Bob is 3.00 a bottle with a 25.00 set up fee.
The 25.00 set up fee is what is confusing me. My equations are. 4n =c and 3n + 25 =c.
I just can't understand how to make a graph with the 25 set up fee. I have a graph for the 4.00 a bottle.
Thanks for your help

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
n, number of bottles
c, cost

Fill It Up, Inc. 4.00 money units per bottle, and no fee for setup
c=4n

Bottles by Bob 3.00 money units per bottle, and 25.00 for setup fee
c=3n%2B25

You can graph both of those on the same coordinate grid, right?

graph%28500%2C500%2C-2%2C50%2C-2%2C50%2C4x%2C3x%2B25%29
They will eventually intersect. Graph is not the best but you can calculate where they intersect.
