Question 1106173: In the vicinity of a bonfire the temperature T (in °C) at a distance of x meters from the center of the fire is given by
T(x) =
500,000
x2 + 400
.
At what range distances from the fire's center is the temperature less than 310°C? (Assume x is positive. Round your values to one decimal place. Enter your answer using interval notation.)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'm assuming it is 500000/(x^2+400)
500000/(x^2+400)=310
500000=310x^2+124000
310x^2=376000
x=34.83 meters is where it is equal to 310
(34.83, oo) is where it is < 310
