Question 110579: A store has T-shirts on sale at 2 for $5.50. At this rate, what

Would this be $6.25? Answer by Kalmetam(43) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! well first find half of 5.50 which is 2.25... as you probably know.
ok now..
there are 5 shirts and 2 goes in twice and a half.. so first..
5.50
x 2
----
11.00
and 11.00+2.25 (half) = 13.25
So they cost $13.25 altogether
