Question 1105628: A man started from a certain A man started from a certain point and travelled in a hot-air balloon, moving in the direction of the wind. He covered 18km in 3 hours. He then returned to the starting point, taking 6 hours for the return trip. If there was no wind, how long would the entire round trip have lasted?point and travelled in a hot-air balloon, moving in the direction of the wind. He covered 18km in 3 hours. .
The entire round trip lasted 3 hours + 6 hours = 9 hours, as described in the condition.

At no wind, the round trip will take 6 + 6 = 12 hours, PROBABLY.

If you (or somebody else) will disprove this solution, I will say that in a way it is formulated, it is NOT a Math problem at all.

A man started from a certain A man started from a certain point and travelled in a hot-air balloon, moving in the direction of the wind. He covered 18km in 3 hours. He then returned to the starting point, taking 6 hours for the return trip.
==================
If there's no wind, a hot-air balloon would remain stationary over the starting point.
