Question 1105224: Explain the significance of the given point to the graph of each system of linear equations. y=-x+ 4, y=2x +4 (4, o), y=-3x+9, y=-3x+3 (3, -6)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1) y=-x+4; y=2x+4; (4,0)....
The point of intersection of the two graphs is (0,4). The point (4,0) has no significance.
(2) y=-3+9; y=-3x+3; (3,-6)....
The two lines are parallel (they have the same slope). NO point -- including (3,-6) -- has any particular significance.
