Question 1104398: I asked this question before, and someone answered but I知 not getting it.
8. Let f(x)=x^2 - 4x + 5.
a. Find the equation of the axis of symmetry of the graph of f.
I知 extremely stuck on this first part.
Then, b tells us:
The function can also be expressed in the form f(x)=(x-h)^2+k.
Find h and k.
So does the equation we get for a give us the equation in b?? I知 extremely confused and I知 not understanding it.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
YES. Complete the Square on the quadratic expression, and adjust into the 'vertex' form according to the format shown. This was done for you the first time you posted this question, yesterday.
