You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Plant A defective panels + Plant B defective panels = 0.03*Defective panels

0.02*16000               + 0.05*b                   = 0.03*(16000+b)    (counting defective panels)  ====>

320 + 0.05b = 0.03*16000 + 0.03*b

320 + 0.05b = 480 + 0.03*b

0.05b - 0.03b = 480 - 320 = 160

0.02b = 160  ====>  b = 160%2F0.02 = 1600%2F2 = 8000.

Answer. Plant B produces 8000 panels.

Check.  0.02*16000 + 0.05*8000 = 720;  0.03*(16000+8000) = 720.   ! Correct !
