time = x days/job ; rate = 1/x job/day

B DATA:
time = 4x days/job ; rate = 1/4x job/day

Together DATA:
time = 2 days/job ; rate = 1/2 jobs/day

Equation:
rate + rate = together rate
1/x + 1/4x = 1/2
4 + 1 = 2x
x = 2 1/2 days (time for A to do the job alone)
