Question 110359: If a rectangular solid (4x5x7) is inscribed in a sphere, what is the radius of the sphere? (Is the diameter the diagonal of the rectangular solid? I know it would be if the rectangular solid were a cube.) If so, I got the radius to be 4.7434. Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! That looks right to me, it doesn't have to be a cube, a properly positioned rectangle's diagonal should pass the through the center of the sphere also
