Jay-Z makes  1%2F4  of the job per hour.


Working together they make  1%2F3 + 1%2F4 = 4%2F12 + 3%2F12 = 7%2F12  of the job per hour.


Hence, it will take  12%2F7 = 15%2F7 hours to complete the job if they work together.
