Question 1103114: I'm really not sure how to solve this problem. I've tried a few different ways, but none of them worked. "Find the concentration of hydrogen ions (H+) in moles per liter when the pH of the liquid is 2.23." Could you explain to me how to solve this problem? Thank you so much!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
pH is Negative Logarithm of the Hydronium Ion Concentration as Moles per Liter.

pH=-log%2810%2CM%29-------------usually in base-ten

Your example is pH=2.23=-log%2810%2CM%29 and you want to find M.
These days you can simply use a calculator for 10%5E%28-2.23%29 for hydronium ion concentration in moles per liter.
