You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X*Y=8.12
X-Y=.1 OR X=Y+.1
NOW SUBSTITUTE (Y+.1) FOR X & SOLVE FOR Y IN THE FIRST EQUATION
(Y+.1)Y=8.12
Y^2-.1Y-8.12=0
(Y-2.9)(Y+2.8)=0
Y-2.9-0
Y=2.9 ANSWER.
Y+2.8=0
Y=-2.8 ANSWER.
