Of 350 male athletes at a high school,some play only basketball,some play only baseball and some do both. If 250 play basketball and 120 play both how many play baseball?
From the first Venn diagram, we see that 250 total play basketball but 120 of them also play baseball, which leaves 120 who play just basketball.
There are 350 total 250 play basketball which leaves 100 who just play baseball.
So there are 220 total who play baseball
