You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let n be your speed going down the mountain. Then your speed going up is n-2.5. So:
6(n-2.5)=2.25n
6n-15=2.25n
3.75n=15
n=4 mph down the mountain
n-2.5=1.5 mph up the mountain
