Substituting,
4W%2BW=60

Solve for W then use either equation to solve for L.

2*L      + 2*W     = 60

2*(4W)   + 2*W     = 60


8W + 2W = 60  ====>  10W = 60  ====>  W = 60%2F10 = 6   ====>  L = 4*W = 24.


Answer.  The dimensions are 24 meters (length) and 6 meters (width).
