You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In the beginning, it was S=3x%2B2x%2Bx=6x.
So then George's share is split up into fourths.
One forth to Tony, three fourths to John.
So then Tony has,
T=2x%2B%281%2F4%29%283x%29=2x%2B%283%2F4%29x=%2811%2F4%29x
and John has,
J=x%2B%283%2F4%29%283x%29=x%2B%289%2F4%29x=%2813%2F4%29x
and
J=T%2B100
Substituting,
%2813%2F4%29x=%2811%2F4%29x%2B100
%282%2F4%29x=100
x=200
Originally,
S=6x
S=6%28200%29
S=1200
