Jack is 2 times as old as Lacy. 7 years from now the sum of their ages will be
59.How old are they now?
Seven years from now the sum of their ages will be 59, so currently, the sum of their ages is 59 - 2(7), or 59 - 14 = 45
With Lacy's age being L, Jack's is: 2L
We then get: L + 2L = 45
3L = 45
