:
Distribute the - inside the parenthesis
:
1/3 (2/5 - v) > or = 3/10
:
2/15 - v/3 > or = 3/10
:
Multiply both sides by 30
:
4 - 10v > or = 9
:
10v < or = -5
:
v < or = -1/5
:
interval is (-infinity, -0.5]

On the number line, you will have a CLOSED CIRCLE at - .5, and a very BOLD arrow pointing to the left of this point, or towards - infinity.
