| Question 1096058: the question says, Solve for y. Then find the values of y that correspond to the given values of x for the linear function.
 Problem: 12x + 3y = 15 for x = -1, 0, 1
 I made a function table and got y= 5.4, 3, and 0.6
My answer wasn't an option in the given answers column

I plugged these numbers into the equation and the equation ended up being true I guess I need help understanding the question

You need to try again. FYI, none of the answers are decimals, and zero for y is not a solution either.AS I said before, try again! You might just get the right answers then. Imagine how you'll feel when you do?
