You can put this solution on YOUR website! Here..
.
One angle is called x
Let the other angle be y
.
Both angles measure 180deg
.
x+y = 180deg
.
But y = 2x+60deg
.
x+2x+60deg = 180deg
.
3x+60deg = 180deg
.
3x = 120deg
.
x = 40deg
.
y = 2(40deg)+60deg
.
y = 140deg.
.
(x, y) = (40deg, 140deg)
.

Two angles are called supplementary angles if the sum of their measures is 180°. Find the measure of supplementary angles if one angle is represented by x and the other angle is 60 degrees more than twice x.
As requested, let smaller angle be x
Then larger = 2x + 60
Supplementary angles sum to (We don't need to be reminded of this, as most of us do know or should know this), so we get: x + 2x + 60 = 180
Solve this for x, the smaller angle, then double x, and add 60 to get the larger angle, or just subtract the value of x from 180 to get the larger angle.
