To check it, you must substitute "-x" everythere instead of "x" and look into the new function.


    If it coincides with the given function, then the original function is even.


    If the new function is the old one taken with the opposite sign, then the original function is odd.


    If NEITHER, then NEITHER.



Let us substitute "-x" everywhere instead of "x". You will get

y = (-x-3)*(-x-4)  =  (x+3)*(x+4)



Does it coincide with the original function ?  -  NO.

Does it coincide with the original function taken with the sigh "-" ?  -  NO.



Hence, your answer is "NEITHER".
