You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x-2)^2=13
find the square root of both sides
x - 2 = +/-sqrt%2813%29
add 2 to both sides
x = 2 + sqrt%2813%29 approx 5.61
and
x = 2 - sqrt%2813%29 approx -1.61

:
Check in original problem
(5.61-2)^2 = 13.03 because of rounding off
and
(-1.62-2)^2 = 13.03
