You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1.A=20%2BB
and
2.A%2B4=5B
So then from 1,
5A=100%2B5B
Substituting,
5A=100%2BA%2B4
4A=104
Solve for A, then use either equation to solve for B.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

"One number is 20 more than another."

So call the two numbers x and x+20.

"If the greater number is increased by 4..."

So now the larger number is x+24.

"... the result is five times the smaller number."

So
x%2B24+=+5x
24+=+4x
x+=+6

The two numbers are x=6 and x+20 = 26.
