You can put this solution on YOUR website!
money she originally had is x
she spent (2/5)+(1/6) of her money, which is (12/30)+(5/30) or (17/30) of her money.
x-(17/30)x=6.50
(13/30)x=6.50
multiply both sides by 30
13x=195
x=$15 ANSWER
2/5 spent was $6
1/6 spent was $2.50
That is $8.50, and $15-$8.50=$6.50.
