Question 1091415: Please help... Thank you.
The terminal side of an angle theta, in standard position passes through the point (-15,-8).
What is the reference angle for theta?
what is measure of theta?
what is the exact value of sin theta?
I got 28.1 degree for reference angle.
I got 28.1 degree for measure of theta.
I got -8/17 for sin theta (28.07 degree)
Please let me know where I am wrong here.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The terminal side of an angle theta, in standard position passes through the point (-15,-8).
What is the reference angle for theta?
what is measure of theta?
what is the exact value of sin theta?
I got 28.1 degree for reference angle.
---------------------
I got 28.1 degree for measure of theta.
Theta is in Q3 --> tan(t) = y/x = -8/-15
--> Ref angle = 28.1 degs
In Q3, add 180 --> 208.1 degs
================
I got -8/17 for sin theta (28.07 degree)
sin = y/r = -8/17
