Convert so it can be used for substitution
c = %28.15s%29%2F.25
c = .6s
&
10% of sale price ûexceeds 15% of the cost by to 10.
.10s = .15c + 10
replace c with .6s
.10s = .15(.6s) + 10
.10s = .09s + 10
.10s - .09s = 10
.01s = 10
s = 10/.01
s = $1000 is the sale price
