Question 1090798: I had this question on my Math test and it was worth 12 marks. I will put the answers I gave.
A blue die and a green die are rolled simultaneously. Draw a sample space diagram and use it to find;
a) a 3 on the green die =1/6
b) double six =1/36
c) any double =1/6
d) an even result with the blue die =1/2
e) a sum of 9 =1/9
f)a sum more than 10 = 1/12
g) a sum of 2,3 or 4 =1/6
h) a sum other than 12 =35/36
I)a difference of 3 =1/6
My answers were all marked incorrect and my teacher said I should not have put them as a fraction- eg question a) should be just 6. This test was worth 40% of my grade for the term and this question was the only one I got wrong. I would really appreciate if someone could tell me why? Thankyou.

and answer exactly accordingly.  
If the instructions
do not say "probabilities", then don't give probabilities.
